Padma Shri Michel Postel (circa 1926 – 2024)
Padma Shri Michel Postel founded Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. in 1949 with a simple yet uncompromising mission in mind - to give people the access to quality healthcare in India.
This visionary French entrepreneur, who also happens to be a former U.S. Air Force Squadron Leader, channeled his years of experience of a disciplined and precise fighter pilot into the pharmaceutical sector.
His legacy is one that is defined by his passion towards the wellbeing of people and his commitment to innovation.
He received France’s National Order of Merit in 1971 and the Padma Shri in 2016.
His enduring legacy is celebrated at the Musée Asiatica in Biarritz, France, and through the success story that is Franco-Indian Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd.
